This is an exceptional movie in almost all it contends and shows how great can be a meeting among three Geniuses of the cinema : Bud Spencer, Tomas Milian & director Bruno Corbucci.

The story is similar to one of the last movies of Nico Giraldi Serie but this time Tomas Milian doesn't play the cop but a wacky swindler called Tony Roma who uses to cheat old ladies who fall in love of him after he sings a funny song... After he cheated & robbed one senator's wife, he is catched by an electrical-household appliance seller who is a policeman from the special service called Alan Parker, but Tony Roma is not an ordinary robber and finally he can scape from the police station. One night, after he runs away from his last love-victim's room, he witness a murder by the maffia leader Salvatore Licutti who from this moment will try to catch him using all methods... Now Tony Roma is wanted by police & Maffia. Since he knows the policeman is a honest man, he decides team-up with him to finish the maffia leader, but for being sure the policeman will help him he seduces Alan's sister-in-law.

In Il buono,il brutto e il cattivo, Eli Wallach stoles Clint Eastwood's screen energy... in this movie Tomas Milian's character made similar with Bud Spencer. When we see the movie, we always take Tony Roma as the hero, althought he is a robber, but as he explained in a scene he makes this crimes because he needs eat & takes care of his mother. Alan (Bud Spencer) is a honest family man but he cheats his family because he is an undercover cop from the secret service, but Tony Roma only cheats for survivor reasons... if we look at this movie carefully we can notice that he is the more honest person in the movie. Because there are corrupted policemen, corrupted politicians, powerful & hypocric maffia leaders (they sell religious figures & but also they kill) and old ladies who cheat their husbands... Tony Roma is poor man who just wants to get a chance for a good life in a corrupted world !

Tony Roma is more than a movie character, he is a new version of Nico Giraldi who has the energy & screen presence for more movies like happened with Nico Giraldi... besides his comical talent is superb as I never saw before. By the way, we can recognize some faces from Nico Serie such as the actor with moustache who played Com Tozzi (Nico's boss).

In fact, all the actors in this movie helped to made it so good, from the main actors including Margarita Fumero in one of her most funniest roles since Maria Sole until the 2 girls (another example of the dirty people around Tony Roma) who picked them in the higway to Miami...

This is more than a simple movie, it's a piece of reality watched throught a comical viewpoint. Even I dare to add all of us, we have felt like Tony Roma in some moments in our life !!
