When Christmas time is near, Maw wants to meet her sons & writes a letter to Travis (Terence Hill)... Maw wants Travis brings Moses (Bud Spencer) to her home because Moses was so angry when she let free the horses he had stolen. Now Moses is a bounty killer who is searching Stone, a thief whose head is so vaulable... Travis catches Stone first & he uses Stone as bait to drive Moses towards their mother's home. There are another sub-plots such a romantic meeting among Travis, a pet doctor, the adventure and troubles that Mose's eldest son has to pass when he decides to buy a poney to his father & when he is biten by a snake...
After 9 years from their last movie together (Miami Cops), it was a great surprise for all fans to know Bud Spencer & Terence Hill were together again... I still remind how nervous I was on December 1994 when this movie was shown in the Spanish cinema screens, at last they made another movie... besides this movie was promoted on TV & some magazines as the third chapter in Trinity serie, but I must recognize I didn't enjoy this movie so much as I wanted... Why ? there are so many & different reasons for explaining my disappointed answer :
1st. This movie seems to be made so fast. Because the story is not fresh at all & all the topics are repeated during the movie. It's so easy to guess what will happen from one shot to other.
2nd. This production looks like to be an long episode from Terence Hill's Lucky Luke serie because almost supporting cast appears in both. The supporting cast are American mediocre actors who can't compete with the wonderful supporting people like Riccardo Pizzutti or Giovanni Cianfriglia among others... really I missed them.
3rd. Besides that TV look like makes the movie loses enchanting... besides this movie was done only for children therefore the black humour that appears in Trinity & almost Bud Spencer & Terence Hill movies is not present in this one...
In fact, this is a family movie that doesn't make a good use of Bud Spencer & Terence Hill and It could been done by Robin Williams... Even Pinno Donaggio's music is not so good as it was in Hill's Don Camillo.
