Why these Japanese titles are so bizarre? Because there are very few who know the Italian. And the video production boys think that all foreigners speak English, even now in 2004! Many Japaneses confuse a man called "Trinita" with a food. Then, they need change the movie title... Its quite true.
And I must mention that some Japanese productions can't count the numbers. "I quattro dell'Ave Maria" is changed its title into "3 bandits in the moor" and "Altrimenti ci arrabbiamo" is renamed to "Sand buggy explodes 3 times" but in real, Dune buggy explodes only 2 times... No way.
So what means "Sho-Geki"? This is a play on word. That meens generally Impact, however this Sho-Geki composed by the other Kanji (chinese letter) has another sens: "Sho" is a verb Laugh and "Geki" is an adjective Violent. That's to say, these series give us the impact and make us loughing violently ∴ insinuate to the risk of over-loughing death!
